Through the years, God's taught me a lesson or two about life and faith. I've learned a lot about leading—and even more about following.

In a way, ETS is a canvas. It's a creative outlet to share what God's teaching me with the hope that it might serve someone in my generation and beyond.

I'm definitely not an expert. I'm just a fellow student who's trying to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus (2 Pet. 3:18).

Over the past decade or so, I've had the privilege of sitting with world-class scholars, pastors, and mentors as I've finished a couple Bible degrees (BBS, MDiv) while also serving in full-time ministry. Currently, I'm on the last lap of my doctorate at Dallas Theological Seminary. 

That means I'm probably somewhere reading a book! But when I'm not studying, you can find me watching the Tar Heels, eating good BBQ, or spending time with my wife, Brittany, and our four kids.
